Description Unsure of the serial however the bolted neck plate has the number 81165 engraved on it. This version of Saber 540s was the early model in which there were 3 mini on/off toggles for the 3 pickups. I left this guitar with a friend of mine and when I stopped to pick it up he reported that it had been stolen out of his apartment. I suspect he actually hawked it himself ...perhaps at a pawn shop. Unsure of the date as it was awhile ago. I believe it was in 1998 that it was 'stolen'. I may be able to get the serial number from Margurite's Music in Moorhead, MN where I bought it.
