Description
This guitar was one of approximately 40 made for the 2006 Executive MBA graduating class at Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management. It was a 1960 classic, with a "1960" on the cream colored pick guard. The pickups were covered and were plated and engraved with the words "Congratulations to the Owen EMBA Class of 2006" and the lower one had my name on it. These have probably been removed to make it harder to identify. I never wrote down the serial number but the other guitars my classmates have are 6 digits, are engraved behind the top of the neck in black and start with "0609". The body is gold and the fretboard is a brown wood color (rosewood?) and has trapezoid shaped inlay. The picture included here is one of my classmates, which is identical. |
Case Description
black Gibson USA case with red fur lining. Inside the case might be a letter to our class from the ex-GM of Gibson, Jeff Allen...this might have been removed. |
