Description This guitar is a customer ga/BTO guitar made by Taylor, it has no cutaway. The top is Engleman Spruce, back and sides are Indian Rosewood (all woods AA-AAA), the body, neck, headstock and soundhole all have maple binding. Abalone rosette. Ebony fingerboard, bridge and headstock overlay. Cindy inlay on headstock and bridge, abalone dot (4mm) inlay on fingerboard. 1 3/4" nut. Nut and saddle are bone. Tuners are gold Gotoh Delta 510. There is an aftermarket-installed LR Baggs Element Active VTC pickup system in it with soundhole controls. Truss rod cover is ebony, no inlay. Neck is mahagony, standard carve. This guitar is their "short" scale length - 24 7/8". Pickguard is clear. The entire guitar is finished in clear/natural gloss, except for the neck, which is natural.
Case Description Between 7:00pm and 8:00pm on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013. Guitar was in the back seat of my car (had just left a master class), which was parked at Amory's seafood restaurant in Chesapeake, VA. Three cars, including mine, were broken into. The theifs gained entry by breaking out the rear passenger window of my car. They stole the guitar listed, and many other important and valuable things. I filed a police report that night, and have since filed a suplemental report.
