Description 1980s US Fender & Brandoni Custom Telecaster. The neck is a rare vintage 1983 Fender Telecaster Elite Rosewood Neck manufactured in Fullerton USA. Elites were introduced in June of 1983 and were dropped by the end of 1984 when CBS put Fender up for sale. So there aren¢¯¿½¯¿½t many of these necks around - making this one relatively rare. Elite Tele necks feature a Bi-flex truss rod, jumbo frets and a 12" radius fretboard. Neck serial is: E312498. The body is a 1988 alder Italian made Brandoni standard Telecaster body made by Roberto Brandoni of Brandoni custom guitars. It¢¯¿½¯¿½s in natural blonde finish and shows some minor dings, dents and light scratches from use but nothing serious and certainly nothing that affects the playing or the sound. It¢¯¿½¯¿½s a nice weight (actually heaver than my other US tele) so great for sustain and also nice and solid to play. Hardware The bridge, wiring harness, pickups and tuners are all genuine Fender US made. It¢¯¿½¯¿½s a standard three saddle bridge with threaded saddles and the pickups are vintage ¢¯¿½¯¿½52 re-issues. I had the original neck plate replaced with a personalised one - still a standard square plate with four screws but this serial reads TM311209.
