Description
|
The bridge is laid flush, the original bridge humbucker (fat strat) has been replaced by a black Seymour duncan distortion humbucker. So that leaves it with two original cream colored noiseless single coils in the neck and body and an admittedly out of place black SD distortion humbucker.
Part of what stings the most is that I just had this guitar refretted with stainless steel frets. I have the receipt of course.
There are locking tuners, a 5-way pickup switch, three pots - one volume, two tone. I installed locking strap connectors, tho one may have failed.
The red paint isn't sparkle or bold, it is semi-clear and you can see the wood grain in a wonderful way. The pickguard is described as 'mint' color, but it's an off white with perhaps a little bit of green hue, mostly cream looking tho.
We at some point installed rolling nuts to make tuning easier.
I feel confident there are not many guitars that match this description and I pray mine gets found. This guitar means more to me than I can ever explain. It was my first and only "real" guitar and I loved it so. |
