Description
|
This guitar was originally black. Since buying it in 1999, I roughly stripped it of paintwork and sanded down the gloss on the back of the neck. the guitar has also been extensively modified in terms of boring a space for a humbucker in the bridge position and a 3-way pickup selector near the lower horn. I most recently had installed 2 white single-coil pickups (one with dimzarzio logo roughly scratched out) in the neck and bridge positions, along with 2 white knobs and a white selector knob, against a brand new black-white-black scratchplate. The back of the neck has a long deep scratch along the top around the 2nd fret, and a deep corner gouge around the 10th fret from where it was thrown onto an effects pedal in 2003. There are numerous other blemishes, such as a gouge on the corner of the lower horn and rust on one of the 'F' branded Schaller tuners. This guitar would not be worth much to a collector, but it has tremendous sentimental value to me. |
