Description
|
I'd built this guitar from parts and materials found, a National rock maple body painted black, National neck with no nameplate, only an acrylic eye symbol I'd made. The neck had really nice inlay in abalone, painted white with white peghead. Gold sealed tuners, Gibson style bridge and Bigsby smaller face mounted tremolo. The bridge was mounted on a fairly massive block of brass to raise it up to the proper height to match the neck angle. It had 2 DiMarzio humbuckers in black trim rings mounted on a shaped piece of white acrylic plastic. The back had a large round piece of plastic covering the whole back of the body to cover a ring of large circular holes drilled to reduce weight. Only one volume knob, no tone, a 3 way pickup selector, and some small switches for phase and coil tap. The finish was fairly dull. The neck was attached with 1/4-20 machine screws. |

No case, was stolen out of a shop, the guy picked it up and just ran out with it. |
