Description
|
This is a rare left handed model 425 from the mid 60's,strung right handed with a reversed nut. Single non original pickup installed. Original pickup was in the original case. There is a custom made adjustable Brass Bridge. White plastic pick guard & headstock badge. Very thin body and a very lightweight guitar. Purchased in 1979 from Jimi Bates, LA guitarist for the group Stormer, from the late 70's, early 80's. This was one of the top LA groups of the time along wwith Van Halen.
The case and guitar were stolen from the former United Telephone Co. building, owned by the Port of Hood River, in Hood River, Oregon. A police report was made at the time to Sheriff Joe Wampler of the Hood River County Sheriffs Dept. |

Original Brown Tweed Case with red velvet interior. Outside of case is stencil painted in white "Stormer" "Dressing Room". It had the original pickup inside when stolen. |
